EZ-216D Custom Label Dispenser
A Custom Solution for Wide Labels with Protective Film
The EZ-216D was custom-designed for labels up to 205 mm wide and label rolls with a maximum diameter of Ø300 mm.
The labels used in this application have a protective film on the label surface. Because of this, a conventional brake system that applies pressure directly to the label surface could not be used.
To solve this issue, EZMRO designed a braking mechanism integrated into the label roll holder. This allows the roll rotation to be controlled without applying pressure to the label surface or damaging the protective film.
The EZMRO roll holder also uses a spring-adjustable brake system, allowing the braking force to be adjusted according to the roll weight and operating conditions.
Another challenge was removing the waste release liner after operation. As the liner accumulated on the rewinder shaft, it became tightly compressed around the shaft, making removal difficult.
For the EZ-216D, EZMRO added a removable sleeve over the rewinder shaft. After operation, the sleeve can simply be pulled out, releasing the winding tension and allowing the waste liner to be removed quickly and easily.
